אריאל עדן עוסק בצילום מקצועי כבר למעלה מעשרים שנה. לאחר שמשך שנים רבות עסק בצילום כתחביב, הוא למד צילום מקצועי אצל מספר צלמים ידועים, כגון עודד עגור אשר היה משך עשרים שנה הצלם הראשי של חיל הים, וכן עדי ברקן אחד מצלמי האופנה הידועים בארץ. מאז הוא עוסק בצילום מקצועי אומנותי, וצילומיו הוצגו במספר תערוכות וגם בעיתונות. אריאל היה תושב כפר האומנים שא-נור בצפון השומרון, שם הוצגו יצירותיו בתערוכה קבועה בגלריה של הישוב (הישוב נהרס בגירוש היהודים ההמוני מצפון השומרון ועזה בשנת 05). כיום הוא מתגורר בנתניה וממשיך לעסוק בצילום אומנותי. ניתן לרכוש את התמונות המופיעות בבלוג זה (הכסף ניתן לצדקה) ע"י פניה לדואר האלקטרוני של אריאל. הצילומים באלבומים מתעדכנים מדי פעם, כך שמומלץ לחזור ולהכנס מדי פעם שוב לבלוג זה ולצפות בצילומים או אלבומים החדשים.

Ariel Eden is a professional photographer for over twenty years. After many year in which photography was his hobby, Ariel studied professional photography from a number of well known photographers in Israel, such as Odd Agur who was for twenty years the head photographer of the Israeli navy, and Ady Brkan who is one of the leading fashion photographers in Israel. Since then he deals in professional artistic photography, and his photographs have been exhibited in a number of exhibitions and in the Israeli press. Ariel was a resident of the artist colony of Sa-Nur in the north of Samaria, there his photographs were exhibited constantly in the art gallery of the colony (the colony was destroyed in the expulsion of the Jews for north Samaria and Gaza in the year 05). Today he lives in Natanya and continues to deal in professional artistic photography. אלבום ראשון: צילומים מהישוב שא-נור

צילומים אלו הם מזכרת לישוב שכבר לא קיים יותר, הישוב שא-נור נהרס בגירוש היהודים מצפון השומרון בשנת 05. אלו צילומים שצילמתי כאשר גרתי בישוב, היה זה ישוב יפה מלא השראה רוחנית אשר כיום הפך להיות גל של חורבות וסמל לרצון לחזור ולישב את צפון השומרון.

First album: photographs from the settlement of Sa-Nur

These photographs are a memento to a settlement that doesn't exist any more. The settlement of Sa-Nur was destroyed in the expulsion of the Jews from the north of Samaria in 05. These photographs were taken by me when I lived in the settlement, it was a beautiful place full of spiritual inspiration. Today it lays in ruin, but it is still a symbol of the will to return and live in north Samaria.

אלבום שני: צילומים של צה"ל בשא-נור

בישוב שא-נור הייתה פעילות רבה של צה"ל, זה היה עבור החיילים מקום לנוח ולהתארגן בו, מקום לצאת ממנו לפעולות נגד האויב, ומקום לחזור אליו לאחר סיום מבצעי לוחמה נגד מחבלים, או פעולות במחסומים למניעת העברת אמצעי לחימה לטרור. באלבום זה יש מגוון של צילומים של פעילות החיילים בשא-נור, זה מזכרת לימים יפים יותר בה צה"ל עסק בשמירה על ביטחון המדינה ולא על פינוי ישובים.

Second album: Photogaphs of the Israeli army in Sa-Nur

In the settlement of SA-Nur there was a lot of activity by the Israeli army. It was a place or rest and preparation for the soldiers, a base to set out from when going in to action against the enemy, and a place to return to when the fighting was done. In this album there is a verity of photographs showing the activity of the soldiers in Sa-Nur. It is a reminder of better times when the Israeli army was busy with the defense of the state of Israel, and no with the evacuation of Jewish settlements.

האלבום החמישי: צילומים של חיות

הקב"ה ברא חיות רבות סביבנו, אבל לרוב אנו לא שמים לב אליהם, גם כאשר לפעמים אנו הולכים לגן חיות, החוויה נשכחת כעבור זמן קצר. באלבום זה הבאתי צילומים של חיות שונות, חלקן ברחוב סביבנו וחלקם בגני חיות שביקרתי בהם בארץ. המשותף לכולם הוא היופי והייחוד של כל אחד ואחד מהם.

Fifth album: Photogaphs of animals

God has created many animals around us, but most of us seldom notice them. Even when we go to visit a zoo, the experience is short lived. In this album I have brought photographs of different animals, some living in the streets around us, and some in zoos that I have visited in Israel. The common denominator to all these animals is there unique beauty.

אלבום חדש: פרויקט מיוחד צילומים של קפסאות הסתעפות בנתניה.

לאחרונה בעיר נתניה צבעו מחדש את כל קופסאות ההסתעפות, ונתנו לכל אחד אופי מיוחד על ידי כך שצירו ציור שונה על ככל קופסא. בפרויקט מיוחד זה אני מצלם את כל הקופסאות הצבועות הללו כדי לשמר ארכיון שלהם לדורות הבאים.

Special project: photogaphs of connection boxes in Natanya

Lately in the city of Natanya all the connection boxes have been re-painted, each one of them has also been given a different drawing to make it unique. In this special project I have photographed these boxes to preserve an archive of them for future generations.
